Rock in Rio Febras in Guimarães closes 2025 lineup with band Pluto

The organization announced that the 2025 lineup for Rock NO Rio Febras is finalized with the inclusion of Pluto, a band from Porto formed in 2002, joining previously announced acts such as The Dandy Warhols, Linda Martini, José Pinhal – Post Mortem Experience, Indignu, Paraguaii, Travo, Growing Circles, Zamora, and Copa Funda.

“Hello, rock folks, river enthusiasts, and revelers. With hearts racing and ears ready, we announce that the lineup is officially closed! (No, it wasn’t with tape. It was with real bands!). We already had luxury names. To these, we add Pluto (yes, Manuel Cruz and company, not Mickey’s dog). Another unmissable name in Portuguese rock graces the banks of the Febras,” the organizers wrote, maintaining their characteristic humor.

The small music festival held on the banks of the Febras River in Guimarães, Braga, gained national prominence in 2023 after being required to change its name from Rock in Rio Febras due to brand misuse and unfair competition claims, now known as Rock NO Rio Febras.

As since its inception in 2022, entry remains free, but an access pass is required, available for reservation from 10:44 AM on Wednesday, June 11, via the event’s website.

“This year, you can sleep right by the river! Free camping will be available in Briteiros – sign-ups also on the ‘site,’ because we are modern and organized (sometimes). For those who want to bring their homes on their backs and full fridges, there will also be motorhome parking; these sign-ups are managed by the lovely folks at Movaci, who will help us with the organization,” the statement reads.

Besides “the guitars,” several DJ Sets and various attractions will take place over the two-day “celebration.”

“We will have yoga to stretch the spine and soul, walks to settle the beer, discussions to seem cultured, exhibitions, meetings, partings, loves, heartbreaks, and… sparkling water (for the adventurous). In short, nothing is missing. Even a yellow poster with a lemon taped on (art is whatever you want it to be!),” the organizers added.

Rock NO Rio Febras reminds everyone that, “as always, all proceeds go to Casa do Povo de Briteiros, a Private Institution for Social Solidarity (IPSS).”
