
A structural failure occurred in a three-story building in Setúbal Peninsula, with a spokesperson for the Sub-Regional Command of Emergency and Civil Protection stating, “the roof collapsed onto the building’s staircase.”
The Social Action Service of Moita Municipality is currently assessing the number of displaced individuals and determining those who can relocate to relatives’ homes.
The incident alert was issued at 4:31 PM, the sub-regional command confirmed.
Emergency response involved 11 operatives from Moita’s firefighters, the Municipal Civil Protection Service, and the Public Security Police (PSP), supported by three vehicles.
On-site are also representatives from the Social Action Service of Moita Municipality, along with a municipal councilor.
