Protesters at the site chant “Free, free Palestine, stop the genocide” in front of the train access gates at Rossio Terminal Station in Lisbon, Lusa observed on location.
The presence of the Intervention Brigade was requested by the chief of the PSP officers who came to the station, as confirmed by the officer himself to Lusa.
Before the Brigade’s arrival, a protester was thrown to the ground by a PSP officer to prevent him from forcing entry into the train terminals.
“Israel is a murderous state, long live the struggle of the Palestinian people,” is heard in unison at Rossio Station, accompanied by applause and whistles to the sound of drums, along with the chant “The people united will never be defeated.”
