The president of the Liberal Initiative, Rui Rocha, resigned from the party leadership this Saturday.
“Today, the Executive Committee of the IL met with the main agenda point being the assessment of the electoral results. In fact, this assessment was conducted along with a self-evaluation of nearly two and a half years of presidency of the Liberal Initiative,” he stated at a press conference.
