If you want to enjoy Saturday outdoors, there is good news for you. The day will generally see clear or partly cloudy skies across the mainland, although scattered showers are expected inland during the afternoon, according to the forecast by the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).

There is a “possibility of scattered showers and thunderstorms in the North and Central interior, more likely in the northeastern Trás-os-Montes during the afternoon.”

The wind will generally blow weakly from the west, gradually shifting to the north quadrant and becoming weak to moderate (15 to 30 km/h) from late morning, occasionally strong (up to 45 km/h) on the western coastal strip and in the highlands.

Today, there will be a “slight decrease” of the maximum temperature in the North and Center, especially along the coast, and a “slight increase” in the South region.
