A Polícia Judiciária (PJ) executed searches at the Grândola Municipal Council on the morning of Thursday, June 26, confirmed to Notícias ao Minuto.
These searches are reportedly linked to alleged violations of urban planning regulations at Herdade da Comporta.
The case involves a potential conflict of interest with the law firm Abalada Matos, Moraes Cardoso e Associados, which was hired by the Grândola municipality for urban management support services while also representing real estate interests for tourism developers at Herdade da Comporta.
As highlighted, the public and private interests of two entities, Sublime Stay and Herdade da Comporta, might be in conflict.
Searches were conducted not only at the municipal headquarters but also at the involved companies.
Those targeted by the operation could face charges such as economic participation in business or misconduct in office.
