The mountain search, rescue, and relief brigade of the PSP, accompanied by the Forest Police and the GNR, resumed searches off pedestrian paths and in steep areas early today,” a written statement sent to the Lusa agency indicated.
“There is no further information to add,” the statement read.
On Wednesday, PSP informed Lusa that the searches had been suspended as all necessary inquiries along existing pedestrian routes within the cellular triangulation area had been exhausted, and they would resume today.
On Tuesday, the police conducted searches in the cellular triangulation area, especially in a section of Levada dos Tornos, the region’s most extensive, spanning over 100 kilometers and crossing several municipalities.
