“After more than 20 years of presence in the country, the company officially adopts the name Verisure, aligning itself with the global identity of the group to which it belongs since its foundation and which is a leader in Europe and Latin America in protecting people, homes, and small businesses,” the group announced in a statement.
The change represents “a strategic evolution that unifies the brand globally.”
According to the group, the transition to “Verisure in Portugal continues the experience and consolidated knowledge in the 17 countries where the group has a presence, with over 35 years of experience, 5.8 million customers, and more than 30,000 employees.”
This “is also a strategic moment for the brand because, recently, Verisure entered the Stockholm Stock Exchange, marking the largest IPO in Europe in the last three years,” it’s highlighted.
“Switching to Verisure represents more than a new identity; it’s a statement of our leadership and the trust that millions of customers place in us every day. We are a step away from becoming the world’s leading alarm company, and for this reason, we unify our brand globally, to continue being the first to protect,” stated Juan Antonio del Río, general director of Verisure in Portugal, formerly Securitas Direct, in a statement.
