A fire in a residence in the Amadora municipality has resulted in one person being seriously injured and five others suffering minor injuries, including a firefighter, according to a source from civil protection.
The alert for the fire in an apartment building on Rua Almada Negreiros, Amadora, was issued at 2:11 AM, with the injured being transported to Hospital de Santa Maria.
The source confirmed that the fire did not spread to other apartments in the building.
By 8:00 AM, the fire had been extinguished.
