Compared to January, service production experienced a 0.1% decline both in the Eurozone and the European Union, according to the European statistics service.
Among the member states with available data, Denmark saw the highest year-on-year increases in service production with 12.8%, followed by Luxembourg at 8.1%, and Greece at 7.1%. In contrast, Hungary recorded the largest decrease at -6.4%, followed by Malta at -3.8%, and Italy at -2.6%.
In a month-over-month comparison with January, Malta experienced a decline of -3.7%, Bulgaria -1.6%, and both Austria and Slovenia -1.4%. On the other hand, Slovakia reported a 1.9% increase, Belgium 1.1%, and Poland 0.8% in service production.
