Several leaders campaigning near Lisbon. PSD and PS further north

Luís Montenegro commenced his tenure as Prime Minister by attending the 115th-anniversary ceremony of the Republic’s establishment at Paços do Concelho in Lisbon, where the National Flag will be hoisted on the balcony of the Noble Hall.

The Social Democrat then heads north, stopping in Trofa for lunch before continuing to Bragança for a rally, maintaining a lighter agenda than the PS leader.

José Luís Carneiro has four campaign events scheduled, the first in Matosinhos, as he embarks on a journey through Guimarães, Aveiro in the central region, and Alenquer in the Lisbon district.

The Socialist Secretary-General is not the only leader heading towards the capital, as four other party leaders will conclude the sixth day of campaigning near Lisbon for the municipal elections on the 12th.

After three consecutive days in the Algarve, Chega leader André Ventura headed to Alentejo on Saturday and will remain today, with events in Elvas and Monforte, before concluding the day in Sesimbra.

Liberal Initiative President Mariana Leitão will also be in the Setúbal district, with an event scheduled at the Livramento Market in the morning, before proceeding to Cascais, where Livre’s spokesperson kicks off the sixth campaign day alongside Marisa Matias, substituting for the Left Bloc’s national coordinator, Mariana Mortágua.

Rui Tavares concludes his schedule in Amadora, with a street action, while the CDS-PP President moves to the interior, specifically to the Mêda region in the Guarda district.

Before the rally that wraps up his program, CDS-PP leader Nuno Melo will be in Oliveira do Hospital and Vale de Cambra on this sixth campaign day, with PAN having no agenda and Bloquista Marisa Matias visiting Setúbal and the Vila Franca de Xira October Fair after Cascais.
