A fire broke out on Sunday afternoon at a nursing home on Avenida 5 de Outubro in Lisbon. No injuries were reported.
The Lisbon Fire Department reported that the fire was caused by a short circuit in a bathroom. The alert was raised at 5:30 PM, and the situation was brought under control by 5:56 PM.
Six firefighters, supported by a vehicle, and the Public Security Police (PSP) attended the scene.
The fire necessitated the temporary evacuation of the nursing home residents as a precaution and led to a road closure, according to CNN Portugal.
