In a statement, the transportation company operating in Lisbon announced that the process for purchasing the Navegante pass online is “simple.” Users need to visit https://www.carris.pt/compre/passe-online/, fill out a form, and follow the indicated steps.
Payment can be made via bank card or MB WAY, and the card will be available within three to five days. It can be collected from a Carris store or kiosk or delivered to a specified address.
Upon receiving the card, users can load it using the App CARRISway, making the transport pass immediately available for travel.
The Navegante passes, introduced in 2019, now offer free travel for young people up to 23 years old, even if they are no longer students.
