Six arrested on suspicion of murder in Lisbon

Six people were arrested on suspicion of the crime of murder in the form of attempted murder on a 34-year-old man in Lisbon on June 1 in the context of family differences, said today the Judicial Police (PJ).

In a statement, the PJ said that the six men aged between 20 and 48 are also suspected of the crime of possession of a prohibited weapon.

According to the PJ, the suspects, armed with firearms, lured the victim outside her residence in the city of Lisbon and shot her, hitting her with two shots that caused serious injuries.

The arrests were made out of flagrante delicto in Lisbon and the Algarve.

The detainees will be presented to the first judicial interrogation for the application of coercive measures.
