A man in his sixties died today following a head-on collision between two vehicles in the parish of Cervães, Vila Verde municipality, Braga district, according to a source from the Cávado Regional Sub-command.
The source stated that the accident occurred during the afternoon, and the death of one of the drivers was declared at the scene by a doctor from the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM).
The accident mobilized resources from the Vila Verde Volunteer Firefighters and also from Amares, INEM, and the National Republican Guard (GNR), with 19 operatives and seven vehicles responding to the scene.
