
According to a report from the Directorate-General of the Budget, actual expenditure was recorded at 5.9081 billion euros, compared to 5.5693 billion euros in the same period last year.
In contrast, actual revenue reached 7.1355 billion euros, surpassing the 6.5777 billion euros calculated in the previous year.
During the period under review, notable areas included the subsidy for informal caregivers (35.5%), the solidarity supplement for the elderly (33.5%), and the survivor’s pension (9.6%).
Conversely, there were significant decreases in exceptional and temporary COVID-19 measures (-91.9%), which have gradually been phased out, and the supplement to the extraordinary support for children and youths (-95.3%).
