The document released today by the Budget Authority reports that the cumulative value until July exceeds the 2.712,4 million euros recorded in the same period last year.
However, until June, the surplus was at 3.673,9 million euros, indicating a decline compared to the previous month.
Effective revenue reached 25.459,7 million euros, while effective expenditure amounted to 22.244,8 million euros.
Notable categories include the European Union transfers related to the Recovery and Resilience Plan, which increased by 60.3% compared to the same period last year, as well as expenditures on the Solidarity Supplement for the Elderly, which rose by 46.4%.
Conversely, some items showed a reduction, such as the exceptional and temporary measures related to the COVID-19 pandemic, which have been phased out and registered a decrease of 72.8%.
