The government has set the percentage amount of the justice fee allocated to the Social Security Executive Collection Fund (FCE) at 10%, as published today in the Diário da República. This reward system, established in 2019, is designed for the leaders and workers involved in the Social Security debt collection.
The Social Security Financial Management Institute (IGFSS) has set a debt collection target of 660 million euros for 2024, surpassing it with an effective collection of 759.08 million euros, according to the decree.
The justice fee collected in 2024 amounted to approximately 19.3 million euros, allocating more than 1.9 million euros to the leaders and workers.
The bonuses, which are 500 euros for intermediate leaders and senior technicians, and 340 euros for other workers, are paid quarterly in March, June, September, and December, in accordance with the 2019 legislation that established the fund.
The percentage allocated to the Social Security FCE, created to encourage debt collection through a supplementary payment, similar to the system for the Tax and Customs Authority workers, is determined annually by government decree.
