After a series of one-on-one debates, the eight party leaders with parliamentary representation engaged in a simultaneous debate this Sunday.
The family business of Prime Minister Luís Montenegro once again became a heated topic among the parliamentarians, alongside immigration issues, following the announcement of notifications to immigrants in an irregular situation.
Other topics of discussion included problems within the National Health Service and housing, as well as the contraction of the Portuguese economy, which Montenegro rejected.
The debate commenced at 9:30 PM and was broadcast on RTP1 and RTP3 from the Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE) in Carcavelos, moderated by journalist Carlos Daniel.
It is noteworthy that the electoral campaign period began today, 14 days before the elections, ending at midnight on the eve of election day.
