The Judiciary Police (PJ) of Setúbal have arrested a 38-year-old woman in connection with an attempted murder of her sister, which occurred over two months ago in Almada. The incident took place on April 9, outside a café, during a dispute between the sisters for reasons that remain unclear.
During the altercation, the suspect retrieved a dagger from her car, inflicting three stab wounds on the victim before fleeing the scene.
According to the PJ, the injuries were not more severe due to the immediate transportation of the woman to the hospital.
The suspect has a criminal history related to drug trafficking.
Following her initial hearing, a non-custodial measure of restraint was imposed.
