In a press conference following the Council of Ministers meeting, Gonçalo Matias laid out reforms for the Ministries of Economy and Territorial Cohesion, Labor, Solidarity and Social Security, and Environment and Energy.
“There is also an objective here to reduce leadership positions, and I can confirm that the reform undertaken today achieves a reduction of 300 leadership roles,” stated Matias.
“This means bringing the decision-making closer to those affected by the decision by eliminating intermediate positions,” added Matias.
