A 40-year-old man was named a defendant by the National Republican Guard (GNR) on Monday, October 6, in Mangualde, under suspicion of theft.
In a statement sent to newsrooms, the GNR stated that during an investigation concerning the “theft of a credit card,” police efforts were undertaken that “enabled the identification of the suspect.”
A house search warrant was executed, resulting in the seizure of “various items purchased with the stolen credit card,” including a smart TV, a smartwatch, a phone holder, a microphone, and several fitness articles.
