A 17-year-old girl reported her stepfather for repeated sexual abuse.

The Judicial Police (PJ) informed that the abuse reportedly began in 2014 when the victim was only six years old. These acts were committed in Cascais, Sintra, and Silves, specifically at the family home and the man’s workplace.

Recently, the 57-year-old suspect began “forcing his stepdaughter to produce images of sexual abuse using his mobile phone.” This latest incident prompted her to report the matter to authorities.

The suspect is strongly indicated for crimes of child pornography and sexual abuse of children.

The detained individual will be subjected to a preliminary judicial interrogation to determine applicable preventive measures.
