
Districts of Viseu, Porto, Santarém, Viana do Castelo, and Braga are under a weather warning until 6:00 PM today, while Bragança, Évora, Guarda, Vila Real, Beja, Castelo Branco, and Portalegre will remain so until 9:00 PM on Friday.
The yellow warning, the least severe, is issued by IPMA when there is a risk situation affecting certain activities dependent on the meteorological conditions.
For today, IPMA forecasts partly cloudy to clear skies with the possibility of showers, occasionally with hail, and thunderstorms in the northern and central interior regions during the afternoon.
The prediction also indicates light to moderate winds predominantly from the west quadrant, fog or mist in some coastal locations, rising temperatures in northern and central regions, particularly in maximum temperatures, and a decrease in maximum temperatures in the Algarve.
Minimum temperatures will range between 15 degrees Celsius in Leiria and 24 in Portalegre and Castelo Branco, with maximums between 26 in Aveiro and 40 in Castelo Branco.
