The band is set to perform its first concert at Coliseu dos Recreios on March 6, as announced by the agency representing Ganso in a statement released today.
The group’s latest album, ‘Vice Versa,’ which includes tracks such as ‘Fetiche fonético’ and ‘Papel de jornal’, was released last year.
‘Vice Versa’ was recorded in Paris at La Frete studios, featuring Domingos Coimbra from Capitão Fausto as producer, alongside Anthony Cazade, known for his work with bands like Arctic Monkeys and Black Pumas.
The concert lineup at Coliseu dos Recreios “promises to go beyond Ganso’s latest album, revisiting other hits like ‘Sorte a minha’, ‘Gino (O menino bolha)’ and ‘Não te aborreças'”.
The event will include “special guests and surprises,” which will be announced in due course.
Tickets are already on sale, with prices ranging from 22 to 35 euros.
Ganso’s initial recorded work, the EP ‘Costela Ofendida’, was released in 2015, the same year the band was formed. Following this, they released the albums ‘Pá pá pá’ (2017) and ‘Não tarda’ (2019).
One of the band’s popular tracks, ‘Sorte a minha’, was released in 2022.
The members of Ganso are: Luís Ricciardi, João Sala, Miguel Barreira, Gonçalo Bicudo, and Diogo ‘Horse’ Rodrigues.
