The arrest was carried out by officers from the Police Intervention and Inspection Unit of the Castelo Branco District Command, as part of executing a warrant that targeted this 64-year-old man, specified the PSP in a press release issued today to the Lusa news agency.
According to the District Command of the Public Security Police (PSP) of Castelo Branco, the individual “is charged with a crime of sexual abuse of children, a crime of sexual harassment, and a crime of sexual coercion.”
The suspect was presented to the Judicial Court of the District of Castelo Branco for a preliminary judicial hearing, where preventive detention was ordered as a coercive measure, the police stated.
