The suspect in the death of a 50-year-old man was arrested on Thursday and remains in preventive custody, as confirmed by the PJ.
This crime occurred following previous conflicts between the assailant and the victim’s family members.
The incident took place in the early hours of Thursday, in the parish of Belas, Sintra, Lisbon district, near the residence of the homicide suspect. It happened after an altercation between the two men, which culminated in a fatal attack using a bladed weapon, according to the police authority responsible for the criminal investigation.
After fleeing the scene, the homicide suspect was identified, located, and arrested on Thursday by the PJ, through the Lisbon and Tagus Valley Directorate.
