TAAG inaugurates new route between Luanda and Nairobi in September

A TAAG will launch a new route between Luanda and Nairobi starting September 1, with three weekly flights, enhancing connectivity between Southern and Eastern Africa, the Angolan airline announced today.

In a statement, the airline emphasized that Nairobi is “an important regional hub and reference point for transit between different regions of Africa, Asia, and Europe,” noting that Kenya is one of the most dynamic economies on the African continent.

The direct connection with the Kenyan capital represents, according to TAAG, a “significant advancement in the expansion of the company’s international network,” offering “competitive advantages in mobility options for passengers, promotion of bilateral business, diplomatic relations, among other benefits.”

With this new connection, TAAG will now fly to more than ten domestic destinations and 15 international destinations, including cities like Lisbon, Paris, Dubai, São Paulo, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Lagos, Kinshasa, Maputo, and Windhoek.
