According to industry sources cited by the Automóvel Club de Portugal – ACP, diesel prices are projected to increase between 1.5 and 2 cents, while gasoline is expected to rise by 4 cents.
Data from the Direção Geral de Energia e Geologia (DGEG) indicates that, as of Friday, March 28, the average price per liter of diesel in Portugal was 1.581 euros, while gasoline stood at 1.71 euros.
“It is still observed that, compared to August 1, 2024, current prices reflect a 2.1-cent increase in diesel and a 0.6-cent decrease in gasoline,” notes the ACP.
Therefore, “if predictions for the coming week hold, the average price of standard diesel will range between 1.596 and 1.601 €/l, while standard gasoline 95 will rise to 1.75 €/l.”
