
In a statement, the airline highlighted its positive results for the third consecutive year, noting that compared to 2019, the last year before the pandemic, there was an increase of 149.4 million euros.
TAP’s CEO, Luís Rodrigues, noted in the same statement that these results “were achieved in a very challenging year, marked by significant increases in competition” in the airline’s main markets, “severe currency devaluations, operational challenges, notably in air traffic control and adverse weather events, and structural constraints such as aircraft limits.”
