A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by four boys in the city of Viseu about a month ago. Among the boys was her ex-boyfriend, who is said to have planned the assault as revenge against the young girl.
The abuses were recorded and shared on social media, reportedly circulating among students of secondary schools in the city, according to Correio da Manhã, which reported the news on Friday.
The incident allegedly took place over a month ago when the ex-boyfriend of the 14-year-old girl asked to meet her at a house where they used to rendezvous during their relationship.
Despite no longer being a couple, the girl agreed to meet him. Inside the house were not only her ex-boyfriend but also three other boys. The same report explains that the intention was to lure her to that location for revenge.
The 14-year-old girl was assaulted one by one by the four boys, who filmed the rape. Despite the incident occurring over a month ago, nobody had reported it to the authorities until then.
It was the girl’s mother who discovered the abuses and reported them to the Public Security Police (PSP). The victim has also given a statement and was examined by professionals in the Emergency Department of the Viseu Hospital.
These examinations, however, were reportedly conducted three weeks after the alleged abuses. The four boys, who attend different schools in Viseu than the victim, have been identified by the authorities.
The investigation of the case has been transferred to the jurisdiction of the Judiciary Police (PJ).
