Amplifest will mark its 10th edition on November 9 and 10 in Porto, with a line-up featuring Chelsea Wolfe, Russian Circles and Oranssi Pazuzu, among many others, the organization announced today.

The line-up for the festival, which will once again take place at the Hard Club, was released in full today and “balances familiar artists with new ones”, featuring performances by Italians Ufomammut and Americans Mizmor, as well as a concert by The Body duo with Dis Fig.

In a statement, Amplificasom also revealed the presence of Cinder Well, Eihwar, UF, Fvnerals, Insect Ark, Living Gate, LLNN, Mary Jane Dunphe, Menace Ruine (on a “unique date in Europe”, according to the promoter), Spurv, Yoo Doo Right and Zombi.

According to the organization, there are 14 premieres in Portugal, from a total of 20 artists, including the Portuguese Avesso and Decline and Fall.

With half of the tickets for this year’s edition having been sold by December last year, Amplificasom pointed out that “production costs are higher than ever, and organizing a festival of these characteristics in a country that is geographically and economically peripheral (compared to Europe) is becoming more expensive every year”.

As a result, the promoter has put passes on sale at a price of 119, 129, 139 and 149 euros, plus taxes.
