The volunteer firefighters from Aguda, located in Figueiró dos Vinhos, successfully rescued a cat on Saturday.
“Today, a team from the Aguda Volunteer Firefighters conducted an animal rescue in the parish of Arcozelo. Excellent work, team,” the fire department wrote on Facebook.
The rescue operation involved three personnel—an assistant commander and two firefighters—with the support of a vehicle.
Nearly a hundred people expressed their gratitude for the firefighters’ efforts in the comments section of the Facebook post.
“Thank you, this is saving lives,” “Thank you very much, all lives matter,” and “May God always bless you,” were some of the messages left by followers of the page.
