The Great Place To Work has announced the top companies to work for in Portugal in 2025, according to employee confidence ratings.

“A Great Place to Work identifies throughout the year which organizations are considered good places to work by their employees through our Trust Index survey. Only companies that meet the criteria receive the Certified seal (equal to or greater than 65% in the survey) and become eligible for the Best Workplaces ranking,” as stated on the organization’s website.

Furthermore, “the lists derive from the evaluation of previously certified top organizations.”

The Methodology

According to Great Place to Work, the methodology for this recognition “focuses mainly on employee opinions (accounting for 75% of the final score) and the evaluation of people management practices.”

“The Best Places to Work maximize their human potential through effective leadership, meaningful values, and a deep trust relationship among all employees, regardless of who they are or what they do,” the organization’s website states.

It is highlighted that “when these dimensions are present, workplaces benefit from innovation and financial growth of their people, the company, and the country.”

“The survey analyzes the organizational environment and employee experience in the following dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie, allowing the identification of strengths and areas for improvement, serving as the first step for the creation and implementation of an action plan,” further explained by Great Place to Work.
