The Black Mamba releases album recorded at Abbey Road

According to a statement from The Black Mamba’s management agency released today, the ‘Lost in London’ event on October 24 and the documentary screenings on October 22 at Vasco da Gama in Lisbon, October 23 at Alma Shopping in Coimbra, and October 24 at Norte Shopping in Matosinhos are part of the band’s 15th anniversary celebrations.

“Behind the scenes, interviews with band members, and live footage combine to reveal the emotional intensity inherent in The Black Mamba’s creative process and concerts,” the statement reads.

Although ‘Lost in London’ is set for release on October 24, the first single, ‘She,’ originally featured in their third album ‘The Mamba King’ (2018), is already available for listening.

Albums by bands such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, and Oasis have been recorded at Abbey Road Studios.

Tickets for the documentary screenings, which include a fan meet-up with the band afterwards, are on sale starting today at www.cinemas.nos.pt.

The Black Mamba released their fourth original album, ‘Last Night in Amsterdam,’ last November, marking the beginning of their 15-year career celebrations.

“Last Night in Amsterdam is a conceptual album including a new version of ‘Love is on my side,’ the song they performed to represent Portugal at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest.

The Black Mamba, characterized by their funk, blues, and soul sound, consists of Tatanka (vocals and guitar), Miguel Casais (drums), Marco Pombinho (keyboards), Gui Salgueiro (keyboards), Rui Pedro ‘Pity’ (bass), and Xico Fernandes (percussion).
