
Concerts are set to take place in Lisbon’s Aula Magna on March 8, 2026, and at Casa da Música the following day, as announced by the promoter. These performances are part of the presentation of the album ‘Rainy Sunday Afternoon’.
The new album, recorded at Abbey Road Studios, was composed, produced, and arranged by Neil Hannon, prominently known as the composer and driving force behind The Divine Comedy, stated the promoter House of Fun.
Originating in Northern Ireland in 1989, The Divine Comedy have enjoyed a rich career with multiple visits to Portugal over the decades. The band has earned numerous awards and released albums including ‘Promenade’, ‘Fin de Siècle’, and ‘Regeneration’, among others.
