The euro has advanced against the pound but lost ground against the yen.
Today, it was announced that German exporters’ expectations have slightly improved, rising in March to minus 1.6 points from minus 4.7 points in February, according to the German institute Ifo.
In a statement released today, the Ifo’s head of research stated, “There is a glimmer of hope in the export business.”
“However, the future development in global markets, in light of tariff threats, remains highly uncertain,” he added.
