The production will also take the stage at Teatro Sá da Bandeira in Porto from March 5 to 8, 2026, a statement from the producer indicates, emphasizing that “more cities will be announced soon” where the play, which in Brazil “attracted over 100,000 spectators,” can be seen.
With text by Solano, Miguel Thiré (who directs), and actress Isabel Teixeira, the play takes the audience “on a journey depicting the daily life of a background actor in the audiovisual field who is confronted with the meaning of his existence,” the statement adds.
“O Figurante” is Mateus Solano’s first monologue, playing a secondary participant who begins to question “his position in a world that seems to always place him in the background,” according to the note.

With production direction by Carlos Grun, movement direction by Toni Rodrigues, and lighting design by Daniela Sanches, the play features musical direction and original music by João Thiré, who also signs the sound design.
The graphic design is by Rita Ariani, with the concept and execution by Mateus Solano, Miguel Thiré, and Carlos Grun, in a joint production by Bem Legal Produções and Força de Produção.
