The organizers of the 10th edition of the event, which attracted 20,000 attendees to performances by artists such as Bispo and Wet Bed Gang, disclosed the dates for the 2026 festival.
“This 10th edition confirmed that O Sol da Caparica is a national festival,” stated promoter André Sardet.
Da Weasel, Plutónio, Dillaz, David Carreira, Nininho Vaz Maia, Matias Damásio, and Lon3r Johny were among the artists featured this year at the festival, which concluded on Sunday at Parque Urbano in Costa da Caparica, Almada, Setúbal district.
O Sol da Caparica is organized from 2024 to 2026 by the consortium Domingo no Mundo and Music Mov, led by André Sardet and António Gomes, in collaboration with Almada City Council, with the municipality receiving a financial compensation of 123,000 euros, 41,000 per year.
Since its inception in 2014, O Sol da Caparica has brought together artists from Portuguese-speaking countries, promoting musical and cultural diversity within the Lusophone community.
