The Social Security will proceed with the payment of the Social Integration Income (RSI), as scheduled in the payment calendar released at the beginning of the month. When is one entitled to receive it?
“Individuals will receive the Social Integration Income from the date their properly instructed application is received (an application is considered properly instructed on the date the last document proving the conditions for the entitlement is submitted), provided it is approved,” explained the Social Security in a practical guide on the subject.
However, there are the following exceptions:
- Individuals in preventive custody or serving a prison sentence will receive it in the month of their release;
- Individuals temporarily accommodated in temporary social responses with a defined personal integration plan, or in therapeutic communities or units in the national network of integrated continuous care, will receive it in the month of discharge or release.
“After the benefit is granted, within 45 days, they must sign the Integration Contract,” the same practical guide stated.
