The Cascais City Council has announced the Festas do Mar poster for 2023, which this year will have some news and many musical stars. Shall we meet them?

The Sea Festivities return to Cascais Bay, as last year, in a model divided into two weekends: between August 24 and 27, and from August 31 to September 3. Admission is free!

With these dates, near the end of the month, the organization’s intention is to bet on a “cooler” music festival, outside the heat peaks, and also to “wait” for all those who choose the beginning of August to take a vacation and who, therefore, rarely manage to attend these Sea Festivals.

Two stages… and karaoke

Also like last year, in addition to the model of two long weekends, the Sea Festivities in Cascais Bay bring other novelties:

– It will once again have two stages, the main one in the middle of Cascais Bay, and the “Sagres” stage, which will be in the vicinity of the Citadel, continuing, as always, to privilege national music , with well-known names to new talents;
– “Children’s Moments”: on Fridays and Saturdays at 18:30, with entertainment for children and families.
– And, on the last day, the help of all participants is asked in a unique concert of the Cascais Symphony Orchestra, which will play the best songs “Best of Festas do Mar”, and it is the public itself that will sing this list of themes, using several microphones scattered around the Bay and with the lyrics playing on a giant teleprompter. This concert will be broadcast live on RFM, partner of this festival.
