
The weekend brought sunshine and clear skies, and this pleasant weather is expected to continue Monday, March 31, according to forecasts from the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA).
Today, the forecast predicts “generally clear skies, with temporary increases in cloudiness from the afternoon onwards.”
The wind will blow “light to moderate (up to 30 km/h) from the east, becoming moderate to strong (30 to 45 km/h) in highland areas. It will temporarily shift to the north along the northern coast of Cabo Carvoeiro during the afternoon and turn to the southern quadrant towards the end of the day.”
A “slight increase in temperature in the northern region” is anticipated, but there will be a “sharp nighttime cooling.”
Maximum temperatures will range between 24 degrees in Santarém and 16 degrees in Guarda. Meanwhile, minimum temperatures will vary from 11 degrees in Faro to 3 degrees in Bragança.
