Weather warnings from IPMA are in effect until 3:00 PM today due to “persistent and heavy rainfall, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms and strong gusts.”
The districts of Santarém and Lisbon will be under a yellow alert until noon, while Castelo Branco and Portalegre will remain under the same alert until 3:00 PM.
The orange alert is issued by IPMA for “meteorological situations of moderate to high risk,” and the yellow alert indicates a risk situation for specific activities dependent on weather conditions.
