Forecasts for fuel prices next week indicate increases for both diesel and gasoline, stirring concern among consumers.
The Automobile Club of Portugal predicts that diesel prices are projected to rise by 1.5 cents, while gasoline prices are expected to increase by 1 cent.
“If these forecasts hold for the upcoming week, the average price of simple diesel will settle at 1.534 €/l, whereas the simple 95 gasoline will climb to 1.69 €/l,” estimates the ACP.
These forecasts emerge as the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG) reported that as of Friday, June 13, the average price per liter of diesel was 1.519 euros in Portugal, with gasoline priced at 1.68 euros.
