New week, new increase in fuel prices. Based on data from the Automóvel Club Português, disclosed this Friday, November 14, fuel prices are set to rise next week, affecting both diesel and gasoline.
For regular diesel, the increase will be 0.5 cents, while regular gasoline 95 will see a 3 cents rise.
If these forecasts for next week are confirmed, the average price for regular diesel will be 1.609 euros, and regular gasoline 95 will reach 1.735 euros.
It is noted that diesel has experienced consecutive increases for several weeks, with rises of 4.5 cents and 1.5 cents per liter in the last two weeks, respectively. This week’s increase can thus be considered the smallest in the past month.
Meanwhile, regular gasoline 95 has shown fluctuations, with a reduction of half a cent recorded last week.
The fuel price forecasts are based on the assumption that the government’s extraordinary tax reduction measures will remain in effect to mitigate rising prices. These measures include the reduction of the Imposto sobre Produtos Petrolíferos (ISP) and the additional VAT revenue compensation.
