The date for the return of Buraka Som Sistema to the stage has been announced. The band is set to perform on July 11, Saturday, at NOS Alive. Tickets are already on sale.
The festival, taking place at Passeio Marítimo de Algés in Oeiras, will host the return of the band, which includes members Blaya, Branko, Riot, Conductor, and Kalaf.
‘From Buraka to the World’ (2006), ‘Black Diamond’ (2008), ‘Komba’ (2011), and “Buraka” (2014) are iconic albums from Buraka Som Sistema that have defined generations. Tracks like “Hangover (BaBaBa)”, “Kalemba (Wegue Wegue)”, “Sound of Kuduro”, “Yah” and “Stoopid” are global anthems that fans will be able to hear again at this anticipated comeback.

Significantly, the band is the first act confirmed for NOS Alive 2026, marking their return 10 years after their last concert in 2016, following over 800 shows, three albums, and an EP.

The organization of Alive announced today that the festival will return next year, from July 9 to 11, featuring the return of Buraka Som Sistema.
