The Judiciary Police have apprehended two young individuals, aged 18 and 22, suspected of aggravated robbery and kidnapping using a firearm, followed by abusing a debit card, in Cacém.
The crimes were committed on the first Sunday of this month, April 6, inside a residence, after the victim had been “lured through a dating application.”
Once inside the premises with the victim, the pair stole “various belongings, including a vehicle and bank cards,” with which they made “several cash withdrawals,” according to the police.
Following two weeks of investigation, the police gathered “substantial evidence” leading to the identification and arrest of the two suspects.
The two young individuals will now face an initial judicial interrogation to determine the application of preventive measures.
