The districts of Faro, Evora, Beja, Setúbal, Portalegre, Lisbon, Leiria, Castelo Branco, Santarém, Coimbra, Aveiro, Viseu and Guarda will be under warning, between 18:00 and 21:00 today, because of the forecast of showers sometimes strong, occasionally hail and accompanied by strong gusts, and thunderstorms.

The yellow warning is issued by IPMA whenever there is a risk situation for certain weather-dependent activities.

The IPMA forecasts for today in the continent periods of cloudy skies and showers, sometimes heavy, hail and accompanied by thunderstorms and gusts of strong wind, especially in the Center and South regions and during the afternoon.

The forecast also points to weak to moderate wind, sometimes strong in the highlands of the North and Center, turning northwest during the afternoon, especially in the west coast, and a small rise in temperature.

The minimum temperatures will range between 10 degrees Celsius (in Leiria and Guarda) and 16 (in Porto) and the maximum between 21 (in Guarda) and 30 (in Braga and Santarém).
