Three firefighters from the Montemor-o-Velho brigade were injured on the morning of Thursday, November 20, in a traffic accident in the locality of Gordos.
The Coimbra District Relief Operations Command reported that the firefighters sustained minor injuries but were nevertheless transported to the Figueira da Foz Hospital.
The alarm for the accident was raised at 10:18 AM. Responders at the scene included members of the Montemor-o-Velho Firefighters, Cantanhede Firefighters, INEM, and the National Republican Guard (GNR).
Local media shared images from the scene, revealing that the fire-fighting vehicle involved in the accident veered off the road and hit the wall of a house.
