Wet roads due to rain and the hurried driving of some motorists are thought to have caused three accidents this morning around 7:30 AM on the A3 highway, north to south between Braga and Porto, near the Seide junction, according to the GNR in Porto.
Major Cristal of the GNR in Porto stated that the first accident at kilometer 25 involved six vehicles. Approximately 200 meters ahead, a second accident occurred involving two vehicles, followed by a third accident a few meters further involving three vehicles.
These accidents resulted in three minor injuries and led to restrictions on the left lane.
The GNR predicts that the A3 will be cleared within the hour.
